  • Courier Partners: Name, delivery address, and contact number provided to DPD/Parcelforce for parcel drop-off and live tracking notifications.
  • Specialist Print Hubs: Order specifications and artwork provided to our UK manufacturing facilities solely for printing and binding.

7 Customer Service Communications

Transactional messages (order confirmations, digital artwork proofs, dispatch notifications, and PDF invoices) are essential to the fulfillment of your contract and will be sent to the email address supplied during checkout.

8 Artwork & File Retention

Uploaded artwork files (PDFs, images, vector logos) are stored on encrypted production storage solely for RIP processing and manufacturing.

We retain customer-supplied artwork for a maximum of three months (90 days) to facilitate repeat orders without requiring re-upload. After this window, files are automatically and securely shredded from our production servers.

9 Data Retention Periods

  • Accounting & Invoices: Retained for 6 years in compliance with UK HMRC statutory accounting rules.
  • Artwork Files: Automatically purged after 90 days.
  • General Inquiries & Quotes: Kept for up to 12 months before deletion if no order is placed.

10 Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Printways uses strictly necessary functional session cookies required to remember your shopping cart contents and maintain secure login states. We do not use third-party invasive behavioral tracking cookies or sell advertising profiles.

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security controls, including firewalls, SSL/TLS data encryption in transit and at rest, access management policies, and database encryption to guard against unauthorized access or data disclosure.

Our core manufacturing and primary customer databases reside within the United Kingdom. Where third-party cloud service providers operate servers outside the UK, we ensure standard contractual clauses or international adequacy regulations are enforced.
