Our roll-to-roll superwide presses handle continuous materials up to 3.2 metres wide in a single seamless pass, by virtually unlimited lengths (up to 50 metres). For even larger architectural building wraps or giant stadium banners, multiple sections are heat-welded together with invisible high-frequency seams. Rigid boards such as Foamex and Dibond can be printed up to 3050 × 1500 mm in a single sheet.
Yes. We utilise industrial UV-curable and eco-solvent inks that are instantly hardened under ultraviolet lamps. This produces a water-impervious, scratch-resistant surface with an outdoor UV fade resistance rating of 3 to 5 years, even under direct UK sunlight and wet weather conditions.
Unlike small-format printing which requires 300 DPI, large format prints are viewed from greater distances. We recommend supplying artwork at 100 to 150 DPI at 100% full scale (or 300 DPI at 50% or 25% scale). Vector graphics (AI, EPS, PDF) are always preferred for typography and logos because they scale infinitely with zero pixelation.
Correx is a lightweight, fluted plastic board ideal for short-term outdoor signs, estate agent boards, and construction notices. Foamex is a solid, compressed PVC board with a smooth matt finish, best for indoor retail displays and medium-term exhibitions. Dibond (Aluminium Composite) features two aluminium sheets encasing a polyethylene core; it is completely rigid, weather-proof, and will not warp, making it the industry standard for permanent exterior shop front fascias.
Standard banner finishing includes high-frequency welded perimeter hems for wind resistance and rust-proof brass nickel eyelets spaced every 500mm. We also provide top and bottom pole pockets for scaffolding or hanging bars, silicone edge graphics (SEG) for lightboxes, and reinforced webbing.
