Printways supplies custom manufactured and bespoke goods created to your exact design specifications. Please review Section 3 (Artwork & Proofing) and Section 7 (Quality & Reprint Policy) carefully before approving your print run.
1 Company Information

Email: sales@printways.co.uk
2 Basis of Agreement & Acceptance
2.1 An order placed on the Printways website constitutes an offer to purchase goods subject to these terms.
2.2 A legally binding contract is established only when Printways accepts the order by generating an official Order Confirmation and confirming artwork validity for printing.
2.3 We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order if artwork contains unlawful, defamatory, or copyright-infringing material, or if technical pricing errors occurred on the website.
3 Artwork, Proofing & Customer Responsibility
3.1 Customer Pre-Flight: You are solely responsible for checking and confirming all artwork content prior to submission, including spelling, grammatical accuracy, phone numbers, image resolution, and design layouts.
3.2 Bleed and Quiet Zones: Files must include a minimum of 3mm bleed on each side, with critical content kept at least 5mm away from the final trim line.
3.3 Colour Conversion: All printing is performed in CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black). If files are submitted in RGB or with Pantone spot colours, our automated pre-press will convert them into standard CMYK. Printways accepts no liability for colour variance resulting from RGB to CMYK color conversion.
3.4 Digital Proof Approval: Once you approve a digital proof or submit a print-ready file marked as finalized, your approval is binding and changes cannot be guaranteed once plate production or digital RIP begins.
4 Pricing, VAT & Payment
4.1 All prices are stated in British Pounds (£ GBP). Prices are displayed both exclusive and inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) where appropriate.
4.2 Under UK HM Revenue & Customs rules, certain printed items (such as standard informational flyers and booklets) may qualify for zero-rated VAT (0%), while stationery, posters, and signage attract standard 20% VAT. Our automated tax engine applies the appropriate statutory rate at checkout.
4.3 Payment must be made in full using one of our authorized payment channels (Stripe, PayPal, Worldpay, or BACS Bank Transfer) before goods are scheduled onto the printing press.
5 Production Timescales & Turnaround
5.1 Production turnaround starts on the working day following receipt of cleared payment and valid, approved artwork (cut-off: 12:00 PM midday).
5.2 Working days are Monday through Friday, excluding UK statutory and public bank holidays.
5.3 While over 98% of orders are completed ahead of schedule, quoted turnaround times are commercial estimates and not absolute contractual guarantees, as unexpected machinery maintenance or quality re-runs may occasionally occur.
6 Delivery & White-Label Packaging
6.1 Standard delivery is free to mainland UK addresses via our designated courier partners (such as DPD, Parcelforce, or Royal Mail).
6.2 White-Label Dispatch: All parcels are dispatched in unbranded plain packaging with no Printways marketing materials or invoices included, safeguarding trade client relationships.
6.3 Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery to the specified address. It is the customer's responsibility to inspect the parcel exterior and notify us of any visible courier transit damage within 48 hours of receipt.
7 Quality Assurance & Reprint Guarantee
7.1 If a product is received with a genuine manufacturing defect (such as miscuts, severe ink banding, incorrect pagination, or transit damage), Printways will promptly re-print and dispatch replacement goods free of charge.
7.2 Claims must be reported to sales@printways.co.uk within 7 days of delivery, supported by photographic evidence of the issue.
7.3 Slight colour variations inherent in commercial gang-run printing (within industry standard delta-E tolerances) do not constitute a defect.
8 Cancellations & Bespoke Goods Exemption
8.1 Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (Regulation 28), the statutory 14-day cooling-off cancellation period does not apply to personalized, bespoke, or custom-manufactured goods printed to customer specifications.
8.2 An order may only be cancelled for a full refund if our pre-press team has not yet processed files, created printing plates, or commenced machine RIP.
9 Limitation of Liability
9.1 Printways shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss (including loss of profits, loss of business, or missed marketing event deadlines) arising from courier delays or production delays.
9.2 Our total financial liability under or in connection with any contract shall in all circumstances be limited to the total price paid by you for the specific goods in question.
10 Intellectual Property & Indemnity
10.1 By supplying artwork, logos, and images to Printways, you warrant that you are the copyright owner or hold full legal license to reproduce such content.
10.2 You agree to fully indemnify and hold Printways harmless against all legal costs, claims, damages, or expenses arising from any third-party trademark or copyright infringement claim related to materials printed on your behalf.
11 Governing Law & Jurisdiction
11.1 These Terms & Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
11.2 Both parties agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim.
