What does "fast in book" mean for an NCR book?
"Fast in book" means that the bottom sheet of every carbonless set has no perforation line. When you tear out the customer's top white copy (and middle yellow copy on triplicates), the final sheet remains permanently stapled and taped into the book. It gives a permanent master log that cannot be lost or tampered with.
Is the spine tape strong enough for rugged trade environments?
Yes. We use heavy woven black linen cloth binding tape that covers the industrial wire staples. It resists peeling, moisture, and tearing even when stored in work van gloveboxes, toolbags, or on active construction sites.
How does the attached wrap-around writing shield work?
Our NCR books feature an extended heavy card back cover. Before writing, you simply fold this cover around the book and slide it beneath the active set. This blocks mechanical pen pressure from transferring onto the next set beneath. This ensures that subsequent forms remain pristine.
